Blagoveshchensk Valves Plant is one of Russia’s biggest factories that manufactures pipeline valves. Over 2,000 employees work at the factory. It has been a part of OMK since 2013.
Blagoveshchensk Valves Plant specializes in pipeline valves made from carbon, low-alloy, and stainless steel grades with nominal diameters (between 25 mm and 800 mm) and nominal pressures (between 16 kgf to 250 kgf). The factory is a full member of the Scientific and Industrial Valve Manufacturers Association.
The company has four main production facilities: steel mill, forging press, machine assembly, and delivery/transportation.
The production process at BVP is conducted along a full technological cycle, from making the billets and parts to assembly, testing, and quality control of the end product. This is one of the factory’s major competitive advantages.
Its main clients are the country’s biggest fuel and energy complex companies: Gazprom, Rosneft, LUKOIL, Bashneft, Surgutneftegas, and Transneft.
Labor organization, strict compliance with safety rules, and labor protection are priorities at the factory.
In line with its status as the town’s major employer, Blagoveshchensk Valves Plant implements charitable programs, projects aimed at improving the environment, and initiatives that promote a healthy lifestyle. The factory workers can exercise free of charge at the factory’s own gym, which opened in 2014, on weekends and after hours.
